Gentlemen,Contrary to your opinion about people not willing to pay the price for the Wheego LiFe, we currently have a dozen orders for the car, each customer well aware of the price. Our first two will be delivered next week.Richard Nimphie, PresidentSuncoast Electric Vehicles

Wonderful! The more people willing to buy EVs, the more EVs will be on the roads. I just hope the dozen here and there are enough to keep Wheego in business. Also, if you have any customers of this ride that would be willing to come on the show and talk about the car, we would love to have them. Let us know.
Hi guys! Glad to see a new show from y'all!
Bo's Vectrix back up and running- and good to hear this story about storing an
EV for any length of time.
Bo STILL waiting on his Fiskar- and you give me grief for still waiting on
Eestor;-)
Wheego- ahhhh- you want to pull for small, local companies- but they have a hard row to hoe, I'm afraid. But, you never know. They may survive in the short run, as there will be a dearth of EVs for awhile. But after that, they will need to find a way to level the playing field, either by selling their car for cheaper, or provide a better car for the same amount. What they (and any other EV start-up banging their heads against the major auto-makers) need, is early access to a break-through energy storage device. I fear that without something like this to propel them deeply into the market, they are not long for this world.
Coda- see above (and they have the added stigma of being made in China, which is a deal killer for me)
'Revenge of the Electric Car' I think chose the first site (NY,NY) by the folks who nominated their cities at their web site. And to see it any time soon:

The new price for the iMiev is very good- makes it cheaper than the Leaf! They must have read my comments above;-)
I noticed that there are some Th!nk EVs listed for sale on their website. So you could buy one TODAY. It is just $36,500 for this two-seat plastic car. What is not to love.Reminds me a little of the Wheego LiFe. Too much money, too little cars, from someone without a reputation.
Dear Bo and Ryan,
Great to have you back!
We will take it as a sign that we have not lost the battle yet - Electric Cars are coming. We need you and your humor to shake this place.
We have great videos on our blog about Electric Cars and Peak Oil if you like to use it.

Best,
Sufiy.
Nice show. Really upset you guy don't own a real EV by now like a leaf. I bought a prius could not wait any longer. My favorite part of the car is being in the quiet EV mode. To me that feature would be worth the price of an ev for many people. Maybe you could buy one together and each pay for 1/2 of it. Also, let people rent it.billberggren
Great to hear the lighter side of EV News and some real news too. Tell us what is up with the Biz(s)?
We are digging deeper into the mystery of the universe AKA Eestor:
Here is the lastest update on Eestor. The Air Force Research Lab let slip a super secret review of eestor's technology.
http://www.theeestory.com/files/AFRLColdFusion.jpg
I interviewed Eestor alleged Cofounder Carl Nelson. http://www.theeestory.com/topics/8273
He seemed to be distancing himself from eestor by saying he only worked at eestor for less than a year. He said he only worked on the chemistry portion of the patents and the energy density portions were done by someone else. He had no idea in general whether or not capacitors could have the energy density of Batteries.
In other news, I tried to interview researchers at the Air Force Research Lab and they don't like my choice natural deodorant. I stay away from Lavender...did you know it can give men lady boobs?

Hi guys! Well- I am shocked, but it looks like the production Karma is finally arriving- well, six of them anyway;-) Still, a good sign- any word on yours, Bo?
For those interested: http://green.autoblog.com/2011/07/19/first-6-production-fisker-karmas-arrive-in-u-s/
Yes, I did get call with this good news about 2 weeks ago. I should have mine by early September, according to the nice lady on the other end of the phone. I am not there yet, but getting close! For now, still cruzin' the streets on my Vectrix, which I love.
We have plenty of happy LiFe owners and drivers..I acutally delivered the last one a week ago and the owner is very happy, so happy in fact he wants to do a video testimonial for us to put on our website as we are just now getting the time to upload videos and testimonials of that nature, also demonstrations on our website..So im sure he and a load of others will be more than happy to talk with you about the enjoyment they get out of driving their Wheego LiFe's and Whip's!! Even our commerical trucks, passenger and cargo van customers who have purchased also from Suncoast Electric Vehicles via one of our other franchises, Vantage Vehicles International, is extremely happy with their purchases and excited for their next one (which would give them 3 totall all electric work trucks) and im sure he would be willing to talk with you as well. HAHA, One customer in particualr has one hell of a radio voice and would be perfect on your show!! Email me at jonathan@suncoastelectricvehicles.com for more information.!Thanks for your posts and your EVcast... We think it's awesome!!~J.N.~
